Chapter 04 · AI & Ops

AI handles the repeated work, so you don't have to.

This is for an owner who misses calls, loses the follow-up, or types the same reply all week. The useful version isn't a demo. AI handles a repeated job, so that hour comes back to judgment. I still write the public words, and I still decide what the company should sound like.

Scope

What I do

01

An AI voice agent

AI handles the first questions on a call, so a real lead still reaches you when you're on a job, and a junk call doesn't take the afternoon.

02

The chat on the site

AI handles the questions the site gets every week, so a visitor can ask about the work, the timing, and how to book without waiting on an email. It's a chatbot trained on your services, not a generic assistant.

03

The follow-up after an inquiry

AI handles the reminder and the routing into the CRM you already use, so a new lead doesn't sit until someone remembers. Zoho is my default. If you already use another system, I work in that.

04

A short run of steps you still check

AI handles a repeated sequence, such as pulling the week's numbers and drafting the note, so you review it instead of assembling it. I don't let it send public words I haven't read.

05

The message after a quote or a job

AI handles the on-time follow-up after an estimate or a finished job, so the note goes out in your voice without you keeping a second calendar.

The plan

How it fits your ongoing marketing plan

AI on its own doesn't bring the work in. It sits on the site, the leads, the words, and the numbers. Most owners don't start here. They get here once a lead has somewhere to land.

Start

How it works

  1. 01Book a discovery call. I ask where the same task happens every week: the phone, the inbox, or the follow-up.
  2. 02I tell you the one repeated job I'd hand to AI first, and what I'd leave as a human decision.
  3. 03If you hire me, I set that up inside the tools you already use, and I check the words before they go out.

Proof

What I'll put my name on.

I've been doing this since 1995, and I do the work myself. I haven't published an AI case with numbers, and I won't invent one.

Questions

Before you decide.

Is this only for a large company?

No. It fits when the same calls, leads, or follow-ups happen often enough that handing them off frees a real hour. Headcount isn't the test.

Will I have to learn a new tool?

The point is the opposite. I put the work inside the CRM, the inbox, or the phone you already use. You should notice the repeated task getting done, not a new login.

What happens to customer information?

It stays in your business. I use tools that don't train a public model on your customer notes, and I show you what's connected. If a tool can't meet that bar, I don't use it.

Do you set up an AI voice agent for a small business?

Yes. AI handles the first questions on the phone, so a real lead still reaches you when you're on a job. I set what it's allowed to say. There's also a chatbot on the site for the questions people ask every week.

What does this cost?

The ongoing marketing plan starts at $999 a month. On the call I'll tell you what this part includes. I don't bill open-ended hours.

Book a discovery call.

If the same follow-up is eating the week, book a discovery call. I'll name the one job I'd hand to AI, and the jobs I wouldn't.
