Founder · Est. 1995
The person on the account.
New Phase is a founder-led marketing partnership for owner-operators. The work is remote. The accountability is not.

Since 1995, the job has been the same.
I started New Phase in 1995 as an IT services firm — building local networks, putting business computers in, and helping owners make sense of technology that was getting ahead of them. The medium changed. By the time the web was the storefront, the job was brand, website, and the traffic that has to pay for both.
Three decades on, the useful version of that job is still plain: help good owner-operators get found, get chosen, and get paid. AI belongs in that sentence only when it removes busywork. It does not replace the judgment about what the company should sound like.
Clients are owner-operators in Canada and the United States. Most of the partnership happens on a call and in the work, not in a particular city. I do not lead with a geography.
“The companies you see in my work all started as a single conversation. I’d be glad to have one with you.”
